I was not born in Texas (I was born in Los Angeles, California at a very early age) but as the saying goes- "I got here as fast as I could"! I was raised in the
small N.E.Texas town of Paris and enjoyed a rural America upbringing, living in and around the town. It was much like a Huck Finn childhood- out in nature
a lot. Fishing pole, shotgun and gone for the day! Just make it back in time for dinner! As time went by I found myself in the "big city" of Dallas where
I live today.

I have been interested in photography for quite some time having been involved with commercial photography in the 1980's and more recently finding my
true photographic calling- nature photography. As you will find in my web site, my mission is to photograph God's world. And that includes most types of
photography from mountain vistas to city skyscrapers and points in between. I have been a commercial photographer, landscape photographer,
wedding and quinceaños photographer, event photographer, product photographer, head shot photogarpher, architectural photographer, seminar photo-
grapher, animal photographer, but nothing compares to being in the middle of nowhere taking pictures in the middle of God's creation!

The nature photography I enjoy usually involves backpacking and taking pictures of some of the most amazing sights you can imagine. From vast desert
vistas to sheer mountain cliffs to dense forests miles away from another human. Alone, yet connected with Creation! However, an awesome sunrise or
sunset can be seen and photographed even in the big city. Some of the places I have backpacked to and photographed include Big Bend and Guadalupe
National Parks in Texas, New Mexico, Arkansas, Arizona, Oklahoma, the Rocky Mountains around Waterton Lakes National Park in Canada and Glacier
National Park in Montana. But this is a big and beautiful country and there are many places still to go and photograph on my life list. I usually photograph
alone even when backpacking- not that I do not want a companion, but alot of people do not want to be around 'bugs and dirt'! Ah, nothing like a little dirt
in the food for texture! And bugs? While I'm no Bear Grylls, I can take being around them. I have even photographed bugs!

Well, enough about me! Wait a minute; this is my web site, it is all about me! Well, not really. It is all about God and what He has allowed and enabled me
to do thru Him. I remember standing on the South Rim of Big Bend National Park and thinking- "God, I really like what You have done with the place"! I
hope you like it also.
